Somewhere between Bologna and Perugia...
On a train

I HATE these night trains.  Feels like we were just on one.  Oh, I suppose that was two nights ago.  But still.

Who's that at the compartment door?  Oh, the conductor.  Where did I put that ticket?  There it is.

Hmm, Sabrina is looking all googoo-eyed at the conductor.  He's nothing special, your typical Italian guy, I think.  Whoa, Sabrina, don't need to tell him where we're going!  I've had enough experience traveling around on trains to know what kind of guy you talk to... and he's not one of them.

Uh-oh, he wants to know where we're staying. ... Good for you, Sabrina, he certainly doesn't need to know.

Sigh.  I suppose we need to hit the sack now, it's been a solid couple days' sightseeing in Bologna, and you know what, there ain't all that much to actually see there.  They had this funky leaning tower there (no relation to the one in Pisa of a similar name).

Let's fold these beds down.  I need to crash right about now.  I hate these sleeper cabins.  Sabrina seems to love them.  ... Oh, she's fallen right to sleep.  And here I am.  I can't possibly fall asleep.  Thrown around by the motion of the train, and it's not like it's a comfortable bed either, you know?
All I can do is picture Rob and Erik entertaining some Greek women.  He'd better not do anything of the sort.  But I'd never know. That's the scary part.

I hope we get to Perugia soon.  I hate night trains.
