Day 1: Phil gives a somewhat sarcastic canned speech on camera and calls Phil a little rat off camera while making a groundhog face. In the closing bit of newscast, Phil calls him a large squirrel predicting weather.
Day 2: Phil starts his spiel on camera, shaking. He runs away as soon as the proclaimation of 6 more weeks of winter is read.
Day 3: Phil skips the ceremony and drives through a giant plywood groundhog that night while seeing what life without consequences is like.
Day 7: Phil gives his canned groundhog speech from day 1.
Day 25: "Eat the Groundhog" speech.
Day 29: Thelma and Louise death.
Day 41: Chekov and winter speech.
