Mill Creek Redevelopement is improved on Mill Creek. The designer of the redevelopment was Louis Kahn. He was born in 1901, in Kingsepp, Russia. He came to Philadelphia when he was 5. In 1948 Philadelphia was once of 9 areas that were giving money for redevelopment. They needed housiing because of the sewer collapse in 1945. And for people with low income. He designed.Mill Creek 1 which has hirises and Mill Creek 2 which has low income.

Sewer Construction is the making of a pipe that will carry waste from one place to another. Then to a plant to be treated. The waste is then put back into the enviroment. Without sewers the land, water, and airwill be polluted. Ever since the 1900's sewers have helped and hurt the earth. In 1961 the sewer that West Philly built for Mill Creek broke. Streets, houses, and cars that were over the pipe fell, because of the workers not supporting it well. It caused a 50-foot hole in the street
