RSA is an MIT student organization that promotes Romanian traditions and culture, both among its members and in the surrounding community. To achieve this goal, we organize social and cultural activities. Previously organized events include cultural movie projections, meetings with the Romanian film directors Cristian Mungiu and Nae Caranfil and the actress Mara Nicolescu (all three specially invited from Romania by us), election centers for the Romanian General Elections of 1996, 2000 and 2004, BBQs, dance parties, and many others. If curious, you may consult a (partial) list of the RSA past events and some pictures.

If you wish to know more about Romania and Romanian culture, check our links and pictures, or let us know by e-mail.

The Romanian Student Association welcomes the new MIT students and wishes them all the best in their academic pursuits. Our Association is open to all MIT students interested in the Romanian culture - please feel free to contact us. You can subscribe to our e-mail lists by using our online subscription system.
