2007 Bone Marrow Drive

Building off last year's record-setting Drive, the MIT Bone Marrow Drive is becoming a yearly tradition.
This is your chance to save a life!!

Date:
Tuesday, April 17, 2007
Place:
Bush Room, 10-105
Time:
1 pm - 4 pm

How:

Complete a health history form and donate blood or get your cheek swabbed to be enrolled in the national registry. The whole process takes about 10-15 minutes.

And then?

If you are a match, you will be contacted by the National Marrow Donor Program for further testing, information, and permission.

There is NO OBLIGATION to donate.

A marrow or blood cell transplant is a potentially life-saving treatment for patients
with leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood diseases. A transplant replaces a patient's unhealthy blood cells
with healthy blood-forming cells from a volunteer donor.
