Dr. John Bernard who has been Acting Director of the Nuclear Reactor will become Director of the Reactor as of July 1, 1999.

In the spring of 1999, the Institute lost a valued colleague with the death of Mr. Henry Bondar. Mr. Bondar had been the Administrative Officer of the Nuclear Reactor since 1978. He was respected and well liked by his colleagues. His death was a loss for all of us who knew and worked with him.
