  21A.01 How Culture Works
• AND Two other anthropology subjects (not to include 21A.00 or 21A.01)

Six subjects:

• 21A.00 Introduction to Anthropology: Comparing Human Cultures
  OR
  21A.01 How Culture Works
• AND Four subjects with a unifying theme (not to include 21A.00 or 21A.01)
• AND EITHER 21A.802 Seminar in Ethnography and Fieldwork
  OR
  21A.852 Seminar in Anthropological Theory

All classes must be taken for a letter grade and must carry at least 9 units of credit.

FULL MAJOR (Leading to a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology)

Twelve subjects:

• Four required subjects: 21A.00, 21A.01, 21A.802, and 21A.852
• AND Six anthropology subjects that make up a coherent program
• AND EITHER 21A.ThT and 21A.ThU (with faculty approval, an honors thesis)
  OR
  Two additional anthropology subjects
