ASSISTANT COACH

Oliver Eslinger

Oliver Eslinger is in his second year as assistant men's basketball coach at MIT. His duties include practice and game preparation, on-the-floor coaching, opponent scouting, recruiting, scheduling, video editing and exchange, travel management, alumni relations and facility coordination. He is also a Co-Associate Director of the MIT Summer Day Camp He has previous experience as a head coach at Boston University Academy and as an assistant at Bethlehem Central High School in Delmar, NY. He has coached at numerous camps and clinics throughout Massachusetts and New York for several years, and currently directs various training sessions through TotalSport, LLC.

Oliver played high school basketball at Bethlehem and continued his career at Clark University in Worcester, MA where he was a starting guard and majored in psychology. He currently plays in competitive leagues throughout Greater Boston.

Oliver recently completed his doctorate in counseling psychology-sport psychology at Boston University. He also received his masters in counseling-sport psychology from BU. During his time there, he co-founded Top Game sport psychology consulting.
