The Neural Control of Vision
P. Ongoing Research

We obtained both percent correct performance and response latencies. Human subjects were asked to press one of four buttons to indicate their choice. In monkeys eye movements were recorded; they were rewarded with drops of apple juice for making correct saccadic eye movements to the target. Percent correct performance and reaction times are shown for a monkey subject in Figure 16-2. Performance was better and quicker when both cues were presented together than when they were presented singly, demonstrating thereby that these depth cues are integrated somewhere in the brain.
