Scenario 2: Dishes

Introduction : Deliver an ultimatum : Talk to Messie later : Confront Messie privately

You chose: Say, “Messie, you are out of line here. We all share the kitchen and all have to clean up after ourselves. You aren’t doing that.”

Messie responds, “You are blowing this all out of proportion. It’s no big deal.” You ask her to please make an effort. To your surprise, she does start washing her dishes, though she still leaves unwrapped leftovers in the refrigerator.
