Journal Vouchers in $SumMIT

You can use the Journal Voucher system to review historical vouchers filed electronically. As of 6/26/98 at 5 p.m., you CANNOT create journal vouchers on MITVMA (to do so, you need to use SAP).

The $SumMIT Journal Voucher menu options are described below.

• Create/update
• list all electronic vouchers you have created but not submitted for approval,
• display any voucher listed
• Voucher log
• list all electronic journal vouchers you have created (no matter what processing status),
• display detail for any voucher listed,
• print, export, or e-mail a copy of any voucher listed.
• Pending vouchers
• list your electronic vouchers that are awaiting approval (including names of approvers/approval groups),
• display detail for any voucher listed,
• print, export, or e-mail a copy of any voucher listed.
• Voucher lookup
• look up any of MIT's electronic journal vouchers by voucher number,
• print a copy of the voucher locally.
