Forward E-mail from MITVMA to your workstation

For some purposes, CAO sends e-mail to MITVMA userids (for example, to announce changes to payroll deadlines).

To get the best use from CAO systems, you should read your electronic mail from CAO regularly.

If you have Eudora (or another e-mail package), you can forward future CAO mail from MITVMA to your workstation. To do so,

1. run (Mac users) TN3270 or (PC users) TCP3270,
2. logon to MITVMA when prompted,
3. at the Command line of the CAO main menu, type the following command (replacing USERID@ADDRESS with your own e-mail ID and address)

   CSM TELL MAILER SET FORWARD USERID@ADDRESS

   For example, CSM TELL MAILER SET FORWARD JANEDOE@MIT.EDU
