Hierarchical Reports

The $SumMIT hierarchical reports are preprogrammed reports that run on current or historical accounts data. Current data includes FYTD actuals and budgets for the current and prior fiscal years. Historical data is fiscal year-end data back to 1978.

You can select to display expenses only (object code 974) or expenses net of income (object codes 145 and/or 199).

You can run hierarchical reports by school, dept, and research sponsor (and with current data, on your authorized accounts). The reports summarize data for ALL accounts at the Institute (except at the accounts level, where data is for your authorized accounts only).

For example, the School report shows current or historical data by school. From within a higher level report, you can "drill down" further - for example, run the department report for a specific school.

As of v4.19, you can "dig down" past data by sponsor group to view data for individual sponsors.
