Hexominoes Quilt

This is my very first quilt. I started quilting because the hexomino tessalation had been rattling around in my head as a design that just had to be used, and knitting a blanket in the pattern (perhaps double knitting, with the outline picked out?) was just too ambitious for me.

The result is shown below; it's sized approximately for a narrow twin, the finished squares being 2.5".

I quilted it "in the ditch" in grey thread, going along every seamline that has a different color on each side. In hindsight, maybe I should've gone to effort to match thread colors, since the imperfections in the quilting really show.
