This dance was a unique piece that fused classical, traditional, and modern Indian dance with American hip-hop and jazz. It was creatively choreographed to an energetic and faster version of the songs, “Dola Re Dola” and “Silsila Ye Chaahat Ka,” from the sensational Hindi film, Devdas. The dancers in this piece expressively used skill, grace, and energy to create a masterpiece that conveyed a perfect compilation of Indian and American vibe.
