The song “Navras,” meaning nine emotional states portrayed through dance and music, is a remix of Don Davis’ "Neodämmerung" that played during the climactic battle in Matrix Revolutions. Whether people are confronting their innermost fears or their worst enemies, the emotional struggle they endure is similar. The process begins with shock, fear, or sadness. It progresses to prayer and hope, and then climaxes with confidence and strength. After portraying three situations of conflict, the dancers depict the progression of emotional toil experienced by victimized parties. Once you see the dancers gain strength before your eyes, you will then observe them go into battle as they confront the injustices done to them. With a fusion of electronica and Sanskrit hymns, Navras conveys a feeling of power and glory that highlights the intensity of the battle. The dancers portray the element of competition via a battle of crisp classical versus graceful modern Indian dance styles, and convey the song’s strength and intensity with their expressions and fast, technical dance moves. Their maturity and discipline as dancers is evident in their ability to combine firm movements with graceful poise.
