 Previous: Purpose
- Any member of the MIT community is eligible to be a member of
the LCS. A person is considered a member of the club if he or she has
attended at least one club activity in a term and has informed the
Secretary of his or her wish to be considered a member.
 
- The membership of the LCS will at all times contain at least 5 MIT students and be more than half MIT students. 
 
- The organization will not discriminate based on any characteristic listed in MIT's Nondiscrimination statement, nor on a preference for dark, milk, or white chocolate.
 
- If this organization charges monetary dues or event fees at any
time, there will be exceptions made for students who cannot afford
such dues or fees.
