Prev Next Andrew Motz's story Mechanical Engineering Andrew Motz, an MEng graduate student, worked in the Great Barrier Reef with the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS) to focus on reef monitoring and restoration. Ava's internship turned full time job Mechanical Engineering '22 Ava ended up extending her internship into Spring 2023, and has in July 2023, accepted a chance to stay on at Novo Nordisk as a full-time engineer. Josiah's story Mechanical Engineering '26 Josiah Shimadle shared that being in a new place was the most stimulating way to learn. He worked on a drone intended to deliver medical supplies to remote hospitals in rural Nepal. Yijun's story Chemical Engineering '24 Yijun Yang spent her summer with TotalEnergies; loves learning about other languages, and being in an international lab has impacted her to apply for workplaces with an opportunity to travel or be in an international team. Michael's story Electrical Engineering and Computer Science '23 Michael interned with ULVAC, a global supplier of vacuum pumps and components, production systems and instrumentation that are used in semiconductors and flat panel displays. Michael was also able to practice Judo near his workplace at an Olympic medalist’s dojo (training hall). Student opportunities
