I just got a letter from June Givanni of the African and Caribbean Unit of
the British Film Unit that I wanted to share with you all. The BFI is
closing the unit - it was temporary anyhow when it was set up in January
1992 - due to restructuring, etc. But their magazine "Black Film Bulletin"
will be discontinued. The last issue will be the Summer 1996 issue. I
think there was only 8 issues published, but if you are interested in
getting copies of the back issues, it would be best to get them now before
the Unit closes. Contact: June Givanni, at fax: 44 171 436 7950, or by
airmail to: her at African and Caribbean Unit, 21 Stephen Street, London
W1P 2LN, UK.
