Does this mean that she will no longer hold her position at BFI?
=========================
I'm not sure. June Givanni's letter says the African and Caribbean Unit of
the British Film Institute will cease to exist at the end of August. "It is
yet to be decided how the BFI will continue to develop work with ethnic
minority audiences and practitioners. A sideline working party is currently
internally investigating the BFI's future response to this area." They are
restructuring to match a policy paper BFI 2000 and a funding freeze. --
