No one has responded about the FESPACO coming early next year, so I'll say
what little I know. It will probably be in Feb/March 1997 and last up to a
week. Like last year, I suspect there will be a package deal available for
folks
in the USA that includes air fare from New York, and hotel accommodation --
hopefully again at the Independence, the most central and best place to
stay.
Last year I think it cost $1,500. I will definitely be going (from
Maryland), and will
keep the Afcin conference posted of dates and this package deal as I learn
them.

I did a WWW search for FESPACO and Yahoo found nothing, Lycos found 21
mentions, but nothing about the next festival there.
