Has anybody hints for good movies on Africa and/or made by
Africans. Should be possible to go watch them in New York.

We are working on the second issue of our magazine DiverseCity which focus
is African Immigrants to the US. Its purpose is to deal with immigration,
race relation and the dialogue among the different cultures, mainly in New
York. The goal is to open up a Center of Cultures where different immigrant
groups can mix, organize and inform about their culture and the impact that
their culture can make to improve New York. We focus especially on
education, health, new economic models, anti-discrimination, and everything
that brings people together.

If you have articles, pictures, photographs, ideas, announcement for events,
interesting mailing lists...anything. Please let me know! Also if you are
