This is a final call for nominations to The FIAT/IFTA (International
Federation of Television Archives) Television Archive Award!
1997 it will be the fourth time this Award is presented. The Award sum
is 10.000 DM, sponsored by the German media technique companies Tecmath
and GuertlerIntermedia. From this year also with an additional Award of
7.500 DM sponsored by Digital for especially innovative use of archive
material. Therefore the final date for nominations has been moved forward
to April 12th.
Note that the award is open to any television programme first transmitted
in any country in 1996, which displays oustanding use of archival
material. This material must represent a significant contribution to the
programme. Particular consideration will be given to innovative and
imaginative use of archival material.
Also note that from this year any media organization can propose one
