THIRD MILLENNIUM: IN THE SPIRIT OF THE HARLEM
RENAISSANCE (JTM) is an interdisciplinary
(refereed) journal that focuses on African and African
American experiences.

The Spring 1997 issue features articles by the scholars/activists James
Jennings (Director, William Monroe Trotter Institute at the University of
Massachusetts Boston) and Alosi Moloi (Associate Professor, Black
Studies at California State University, Long Beach). Also included in this
issue are a spotlight interview with James Cameron (Founder of America's
Black Holocaust Museum), a poem about General Murtala Mohammed by
Vincent Owhoso, and an essay about Sango by Adetokunbo Abimbola.

The forthcoming Fall issue will feature articles about FESPACO 1997, South
Africa, & African influences in Puerto Rico.
