In memory of our beloved Djibril Diop Mambety. The REELS OF COLOUR segment
with Mambety will be re-broadcast in the Washington, D.C. area on WHUT
Channel 32 (Howard University Television). (For those in the Washington
D.C. region who receive WHUT, check your local listing). Tune in Sunday
August 23, 1998 at 3 p.m. It will also be cablecast on DCTV (Public access
channel 25) on Thursday, August 20, 1998. DJIBRIL DIOP MAMBETY gives a
poetic and metaphorical account of how he came to cinema. He talks about
his films Touki Bouki and Hyenas and his love for Africa. In Wolof with
    English subtitles.
