Lighter Than Air - Design & Build
In the Lighter Than Air (LTA) Vehicle design competition students work in teams of five to six, first developing paper schematics and then building a flying vehicle. The teams then race their vehicles in friendly competition around M.I.T gymnasium. Prizes are awarded for heaviest payload, fastest time, and largest payload-to-time ration.
