There are ten MIT Practice School students joining Station Director Anish Goel and Assistant Station Director Carlos Rinaldi (ME!) at the Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation station in Mizushima. They are from six different nationalities, and nine different schools. They are:

Andre Ditsch - An American from Nebraska, Andre studied at the University of Nebraska and worked for Archer Daniels Midland before joining MIT in his pursuit of a PhD in Chemical Engineering Practice. Andre promises to do more stupid things in the near future so we can replace this boring picture of him with something more fun...

Darren Ong - A native of Singapore, Darren studied at the University of Illinois - Urbana Champagne before joining MIT in his pursuit of a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Practice before joining Exxon-Mobil in Singapore.

Debbie Tan - A native of Singapore, Debbie studied at the University of Illinois - Urbana Champagne before joining MIT in her pursuit of a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Practice. She will return to Singapore and work for the government after obtaining her degree.

Emery Kuo - Born in California, his MOMMA is from Taiwan. Emery obtained a BS degree in Chemical Engineering at MIT and is now completing a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Practice before joining Novellus Systems.

Magali Pagès - A native of France, Magali earned a diplome d'ingenieur from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Ingenieurs en Arts Chimiques et Technologiques before joining MIT in her pursuit of a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Practice. Make sure you pronounce her name right when you call her!

Michelle Wu - Born in Michigan, her family is from Hong Kong. Michelle obtained a BS degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan before joining MIT in her pursuit of a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Practice. Patrick de Man - A native of the Netherlands, Patrick obtained a MS in Chemical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology before joining MIT in his pursuit of a PhD in Chemical Engineering Practice. He is a fluent (relative to me) speaker of Japanese, and spent already a cumulative year of time in Japan, during which Patrick met his wife, Mika.

Saeeda Jaffar - A native of the United Arab Emirates, Saeeda obtained a BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University before joining MIT in her pursuit of a PhD in Chemical Engineering.

Samuel Ngai - Originally from Hong Kong, Samuel obtained a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California - Berkeley and worked as a management consultant for Mitchell Madison Group and ZS Associates before joining MIT in his pursuit of a PhD in Chemical Engineering. Saswata Gosh - A native of India, Saswata obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, in Kharagpur, before joining MIT in his pursuit of a PhD in Chemical Engineering.

And now, our Station Director!

Anish Goel - our Station Director, Anish was born in Australia to Indian parents. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a MSCeP and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from MIT. After a short stint with the Practice School, Anish hopes to relocate to Washington, D.C., and start a career in politics and policy. Anish does not like to have his picture taken...
