[TG breaks down, faces audience]

[just as TG turns, people rush in and sell MIT paraphenalia to the pre-frosh]

TG:

[in tears] Oh it's hopeless! I'm a terrible tour guide. I took them to see all the wrong things. Oh no! What have I done?! They'll probably go to ...to Harvard now!

[the pre-frosh now talk excitedly between themselves]

T1:

Gosh, I can't wait to come here. I've already picked an athena username!

T3:

Me too. I think I want to go course IV, but my parents want me to do VI and XV.

T2:

I think I wanna do VI-3, VIII and XVIII.

T1:

Do you think we can place out of 18.01, 8.01 and 5.11?

[they start to wander off stage]

T3:

Oh, I can't wait to take 6.041. I hear there is a really cute TA called Leon teaching.

[offstage now]

T1, T2 and T3:
