ShopSite

ShopSite is an enterprise software package for building catalog product pages and shopping baskets. MIT has a site license for ShopSite. All stores are hosted on a server that is maintained by MIT Information Services and Technology. ShopSite is integrated with the ClearCommerce credit card payment processing service.

ShopSite is a good option for merchants that:

• sell multiple products and/or services
• have products and/or services with established pricing

Features

MIT's site license includes two product options, ShopSite Manager and ShopSite Pro.

ShopSite Manager allows:

• Browser-based interface
• Secure ordering
• Ability to add multiple pages and products
• Configurable payment options
• Customizable customer email receipts
• Customizable page layout options

ShopSite Pro allows:

• All ShopSite Manager features, plus:
• Inventory tracking
• Searchable products database
• Product quantity discounts and other flexible pricing options

Costs

There is a one-time cost associated with each ShopSite store. The cost for ShopSite Manager is $325. The cost for ShopSite Pro is $925. Information Services and Technology staff can help build ShopSite stores for an additional charge.
