Customer Service Center Smoothes Our Work Processes
Facilities is now creating a new group that will make using our services easier. In conjunction with our Building Services SAPweb tab, we are starting a Customer Service Center (CSC) to assist our customers. The CSC will be comprised of two staffing elements, a Work Reception Group and Customer Service Representatives. The Work Reception Group is the first point of contact for customers and they will answer phones, process work orders and work with Facilities staff in R&M, Grounds and Custodial Services to meet the needs of our MIT customers.
Our Customer Service Representatives will build on the existing relationships between Facilities customers and our Operations staff. Each Customer Service Representative will be assigned to a School within the Institute. The Customer Service Reps will work closely with their customers to ensure that a project moves smoothly and that the customer is kept apprised of its progress.
Staff members in the Work Reception Group are answering phone calls, responding to customer requests and creating work orders for three Operational areas.
