Visiting MIT’s Green Treasures
Grounds staff conduct garden tours several times a year, showcasing hidden gems and notable landscaping on campus. The tours are conducted in collaboration with the MIT Activities Committee (MITAC) to inform the community about new and historic gardens and courtyards on the urban campus.
The tours, usually given in the late spring and fall, point out more than 25 featured plants, including varieties of hydrangeas and rhododendrons as well as oak, maple, and birch trees.
