The time-honored tradition of providing vast recreational opportunities to the MIT community depends greatly on the support from alumni. The generosity of such alumni has provided for state-of-the-art facilities and improvements on existing facilities. In addition, the funds designated toward the Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation play a vital role in funding operation costs, team travel, and equipment.
