I totally agree with Morris.
A particular scene that
struck my attention is when (name?) stays home taking care
of the baby while (name?) goes out to buy food. The french
version is much more funny than the american one, not
because the actor talks more but because it lets the
situation amuse you. The american version is not funny
at all and is definitely overacted. (name?) walks all over
the place, tries all kinds of jokes, keeps complaining all
the time, and in general tries to hard to convey the idea
that he is desperate and does not know what to do. Instead
of feeling pity for him, I just couldn't stop thinking that
he was exaggerating and being too loud.
