About: the bad guys

The situation with the
bad guys was probably
handled the way it was in the Amerian version
because the movie would have received bad
press otherwise. Just imagine if the three men
had joined forces with the crooks. They would
have become bad guys themselves.
I have a question for the French students: why
did the three men in the French version just
seem to be annoyed by the police? How do
French people feel about their police? Do they
often try to disobey them? Or do you think it
was strange, too?
