Thank you, Stephane, for
answering my question about the
French and French police. It was good to learn that French
people do respect their police officers. There is a lot of
pressure in the United States to make films that have some
sort of moral lesson. I think this is the reason that the
main characters worked so hard to obey the police.
Because of the money involved in movies and movie production,
American characters are not always portrayed accurately.
They are portrayed according to what will sell the most
tickets for the movie. This is not always true, but it is
often true.
Does this happen very often when French movies are being
produced?
