I have heard before that the French see American
men as "cowboys." Not at all. That is just
something left over from old movies. The only
reason that stereotype has held is because we are
the only nation to have had that culture.
I spent two weeks in France when I was 16. I
must argue with you. A lot of French men
certainly are "players." From my experience,
they like to date an many women at one time
as is humanly possible. Did I just meet the
wrong people?
