Accessibility
We have made our best efforts to comply with the accessibility standards defined by the Federal Government Section 508 Guidelines, as well as with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) accessibility guidelines, while still preserving functionality and ease-of-use for users with older browsers and opertating systems. Where-ever possible, we have used Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to define the text and layout characteristics, and have kept the use of HTML tables for layout control to a minimum. Users viewing the site with browsers that have CSS disabled will still be able to view the content and navigate the site.
Access Keys
We have included access key definitions for links in the navigation bar. Most browsers support jumping to specific links by using certain keystrokes in concert with these access keys. On Windows, can press ALT + an access key; on Macintosh, you can press Control + an access key.
All pages on this site define the following access keys:
Access key 0 - Skip Navigation (for users with text browsers)
Access key 1 - Home page
Access key 2 - Latest News
Access key 3 - Funding
Access key 4 - Researchers
Access key 5 - Diary
Access key 6 - Privacy Statement
Access key 7 - Contact Us
Access key 8 - Address Update Form
Access key 9 - Survey Data Analysis
