Basic Operations

There are nine basic kinds of operations in gschem:

• File related (Open/Close/Save/Print etc...)
• Addition of objects (Add nets/lines/pins/components etc...)
• Manipulate objects (move/copy/delete/rotate/mirror etc...)
• View operations (Zoom/Pan/Redraw etc...)
• Hierarchy operations (Down Schematic/Down Symbol/Up)
• Attribute operations (Attach/Detach/Toggle visibility etc...)
• Buffer operations (Copy / Cut / Paste)
• Option changing (text size/gridding/snap etc...)
• Editing Grips

This section will describe each of these. The terms ``page'' and ``schematic'' both refer to the same thing (a collection of objects that are loaded and being displayed). A window is that big window in which schematics are displayed and manipulated.
