There are nine basic kinds of operations in gschem:
- File related (Open/Close/Save/Print etc...)
- Addition of objects (Add nets/lines/pins/components etc...)
- Manipulate objects (move/copy/delete/rotate/mirror etc...)
- View operations (Zoom/Pan/Redraw etc...)
- Hierarchy operations (Down Schematic/Down Symbol/Up)
- Attribute operations (Attach/Detach/Toggle visibility etc...)
- Buffer operations (Copy / Cut / Paste)
- Option changing (text size/gridding/snap etc...)
- Editing Grips
This section will describe each of these.
The terms ``page'' and ``schematic'' both refer to the same thing (a
collection of objects that are loaded and being displayed).
A window is that big window in which schematics are displayed
and manipulated.
