Position: Research affiliate

I am a research affiliate at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research conducting research with Prof. Tomaso Poggio, Prof. Nancy Kanwisher and Prof. Joshua Tenenbaum in the Center for Brains Minds and Machines, MIT.

My research interests lie in the interdisciplinary area between computer and human vision, including human developmental learning and human cognition.
In particular, I am interested in understanding the processes and mechanisms of visual perception, with focus on recognition and learning, and the use of perception in the acquisition of complex cognitive concepts.
Furthermore, I am interested in exploring the possible use of similar learning processes to tackle fundamental, yet very challenging, computer vision tasks.

I am also a senior intern at the Department of Computer Science And Applied Mathematics of the Weizmann Institute of Science , conducting research with Prof. Shimon Ullman.
