Profile Generator and PD objects
PD objects such as positions, jobs, organizational units and work centers can be assigned to activity groups.
- Assignment is time dependent.
- The link information is stored in the standard profiles infotype 1016.
- The standard profile can be enhanced by an structural authorization (infotype 1017).
- Structural authorizations control the objects user see and the activities they can take when working with organizational plans.
- Structural assignments can be maintained for a specific position.
- Holder of the position will inherit the structural authorization.
