Budget Creation and Distribution in FM
New budget is created either as “Original Budget” or as “Supplemental Budget”.
Budget can be moved within a Fund by the Distribution and Return processes.
Budget can be moved between or within Funds using the Transfer process.
Conversion of Revenue to Budget can be automated using the “Revenue increases Budget” (RIB) facility.
Journal entries between Funds can effectively transfer budget by transfer of “-ve expense”.
