Controls in Budget Creation and Distribution / Transfer at UCT

Different transactions are used for the different processes (e.g. Create/Modify Original Budget, Transfer Budget, Distribute Budget). UCT uses R/3 authorisations to restrict Budget Creation to a very small group of people and allows a much larger group to Distribute or Transfer budget.

“Control Funds” (budget only, no actual postings permitted) are used to create budget at high level in the FM Fund - Fund Centre hierarchy with subsequent transfers onwards.
