Brief slide presentation of major Bonsai styles, after which you will create your own bonsai. Also covered: maintenance, care, selection and housing. Creating Living Topiary

Learn to create a topiary, inspired from renaissance gardens. Covers choice of plant materials, home conditions, shaping, and care. You will create your very own topiary in terra cotta planters. $20 materials fee. Sign up in advance by Dec. 11th at The Source, Student Center, x2-1994.
