Participants requested to attend all sessions (non-series) Prereq: Hobby Shop membership Fee: 40.00 for Materials and Hobby Shop membership In this class you will learn basic machine shop practice: layout, process planning, milling, drilling, turning, tool selection and grinding, measurement, and use of handtools (center punch, file, etc.). As time permits, we will also cover material properties, inspection techniques, and other pertinent issues.
