Shotokan Karate is a classic Japanese martial arts style. Its fundamental aim is to achieve mental and physical balance.The basic techniques consist of punches, kicks and blocks. The emphasis is on Katas training.
At MIT Karate is taught by Master Kazumi Tabata and by Sensei Dave D'Amore, a 4th degree black belt. The IAP class is designed as an introductory class.
