Radio Controlled Landsailing Challenge Kristopher J Seluga Tue Jan 9, Thu Jan 11, Tue Jan 30, Thu Feb 1, 06-07:00pm, 1-132 No limit but advance sign up required (see contact below) Signup by: 08-Jan-2001 Participants welcome at individual sessions (series) Participants will be introduced to the basic principles of radio controlled landsailing and model building and then be challenged to design and build their own models to compete in an RC Landsailing Regatta at the end of IAP. No sailing or model building experience is required. The first few meetings will introduce landsailing and offer design advice and sample models to work from. Everyone will then have two weeks to build their models before the final week of testing culminating in the first ever MIT RC Landsailing Race. Participants will be required to provide their own building materials. Race date and time to be determined by participants.
