The course prepares you to help people work collaboratively in groups to achieve goals. Emphasis is placed on developing facilitation skills through practice sessions, videotaping, and private feedback sessions. You will learn how to build a detailed agenda, build understanding and agreement, use facilitation techniques, deal with typical meeting behaviors, listen and resolve conflict in groups, use decision-making and problem-solving tools.
