Japan and the Kimono: An Interactive Presentation

Learn about the history of Japanese textiles and how the kimono came into fashion, then try one on yourself. One member of the audience (more if time permits) will have an
opportunity to be dressed in a kimono and obi. Workshop will also feature a performace on the koto, a Japanese stringed instrument, by Ms. Yurie Hori.
