IAP 2001 Activity

IAP Orchestra Frederick Harris, Jr. Tue, Thu-Fri, Jan 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25-26, 11am-01:00pm, TBA Enrollment limited: advance sign up required (see contact below) Participants requested to attend all sessions (non-series) Prereq: Audition only for students not currently in Music Dept group The IAP Orchestra will focus on Classical repertoire including Mozart symphony No. 29, Beethoven symphony No. 2 and some twentieth century works including Arvo Part’s "Fratres" and several small pieces by Shostakovich. The IAP Orchestra will consist of seven rehearsals and a public concert on Friday, January 26, 2001 in Kresge Auditorium. Enrollment is based on the instrumentation needed for the planned repertoire.
