This class will improve your style of skating, and you will learn a variety of figure skating moves,including forward and backward edges, mohawk and three turns,spirals, lunges, spins, and a variety of jumps (bunny hops, waltz jumps, toe-loops, mazurkas, salchows, etc.). You must have figure skates (hockey skates are unsuitable for this class). Rentals are available at the rink.

learn the fundamentals of lap swimming and improve their stroke technique.
Students should know the front crawl, backstroke, and breaststroke prior to

Come and learn about Sport Taekwondo, one of two martial arts included as an official Olympic sport in the 2000 Olympics. Basic kicking techniques used in Sport Taekwondo competition are taught, as well as traditional forms and stances. Class is dynamic and upbeat, and students will get a good workout.

Interested in doing a triathlon but don’t know how to train? Are you a seasoned veteran looking to take your racing to the next level? Intro to triathlon training is designed to teach people of all abilities competitive swimming, biking, and running and how to incorporate all three sports into one plan for triathlon competition. Participants will also learn specific triathlon skills including: pack swimming/drafting, swim starts, buoy turns, time-trial positioning (bike), transitions, running after the bike, racing/training nutrition.
